October 23rd, 2026
The Homecoming Dance is this weekend (Saturday Night). There is a Homecoming Parade after school. The Homecoming Royalty is crowned during half time at the game. There are lots of people. And Blow Ups. And Food Trucks. And in 2024 there was an Apache Blackhawk Helicopter that took off from the field during halftime. Toro Pride.
Come out to support our Toro Marching Band and Mountain View at the Homecoming Parade!
Parade Details : After school, students will be walking from Mountain View to Hale Elementary (just under a mile) to get to the starting point of the Homecoming Parade. Students need to be at Hale at 4pm in their red pep band shirt and jeans/pants without holes. The parade starts at 4:30. We are first in the parade and we will make it back to Mountain View around 4:50 where we will serve the students dinner before uniforms come out.
4pm - Student call time at Hale Elementary
4:30pm - Homcoming Parade Begins (The Marching Band leads the Parade)
4:50pm - Arrive in the Toro Stadium Parking Lot back at Mountain View at the Parade’s End
Students are fed dinner, change into uniforms, and head to the stadium for the 7pm Homecoming Football Game.
Parade Route : The Homecoming Parade starts along 23rd Street on the West side of Hale Elementary School, heading North to Hale St, were it turns right to head East until it runs into 26th St. Then it turns South for a short distance until continuing East on Hope St until reaching Lindsay Rd. Once the Parade leaves the Residential neighborhood at this turn there will no longer be spectators allowed on Lindsay Rd. The parade participants will go South on Lindsay Rd and turn into the Toro Stadium Parking lot at the end of the Parade Route. (Just over a mile long.)
There will be a lot of road closures before and during the parade along and around the route, so get there early and bring your own seating(camping chair or blanket), shade(hat or umbrella), and water! Go Toros!
Homecoming Football Game:
After the parade when we make it back to Mountain View we will serve the students dinner before uniforms come out. Look out for a sign up from the Band Boosters to donate food or help serve the food after the Parade.
The football game starts at 7pm like all other games, though be prepared to be early this night, as it gets very crowded. There will be blow ups and food trucks. The half time Homecoming festivities usually run longer than standard half times. They crown the homecoming king and queen and usually put on a bit of a show. In 2024 there was an Apache Blackhawk Helicopter that took off from the field during halftime with the Homecoming Royaly on board. Be prepared for a long night full of high energy and lots of noise.
