Mountain View High School

Toro Marching Band

• Band Camp - Summer •

2026-2027 Band Camp is July 20-23 & 27-30 at Mountain View High School.

A good Marching Band show starts with a successful band camp.  As such, attendance at Band Camp is mandatory. We begin marching together on the field during camp.

A typical day at Band Camp includes a variety of activities to help the band members learn the show and grow as a team.  We start learning the season’s show music and drill.  Sectional rehearsals and drill clinics help with specific skills. Games, spirit days, section activities and large group activities help the students bond as a Band and as a Section.

  • Expect to work hard and learn fast

  • Expect to learn, listen, talk, teach, stand, march, play, and hydrate!

  • Expect to make lots of friends and come together as a Marching Band

  • Expect to be proud of the hard work you and your bandmates put in and learn to be a proud Marching Toro!

Band Camp Fee: There is a cost associated with Band Camp that will be due before camp begins. This fee is used for much more than just Band Camp and helps to pay for your entire Marching Band year. Included in the Band Camp Fee is your Show T-Shirt, a Pep Band T-Shirt, 1 pair of black marching socks, and a Marching Band Water Jug. The fee also helps pay for Show music rights, props, uniform dry cleaning and maintenance, band camp expenses, staffing, and much more.

Band Camp Fee for the 2026-2027 Marching Season is $450

Please make sure you make your payment by June 11th. Follow this link to the Mesa Public School WebPay system to log-in and pay online OR call the Mountain View Bookstore at 480-472-6981 (closed Fridays). Band Camp is ECA tax credit eligible.

Marching Band Uniforms

Students are measured and fitted during Marching Band Camp in July. There is no extra cost for the rental of this uniform. Uniforms are not to be taken home.

Show Performance Top

This is a uniform top that we use in our Marching Band Show that matches the theme of our Show and is custom fit to each performer. These tops will come home at the end of the Marching season. Cost for Perfomance Top is $150 to be paid by cash or check to the Mountain View High School Band Booster Association (MVHSBBA). Due by July 20th, 2025. (The first day of Band Camp)

Marching Band Shoes

All NEW Members will need these shoes. They will be fitted for these Shoes during Band Camp and ordered from the company. Cost is $65 and Due during the fitting with the order form. They are not available in stores. Returning members will only need to purchase them if needed. Color Guard will order a different style of shoes than the Marching Band. They will be a similar price. The style and color will be determined when the costume is designed.

Save the Date! Summer Marching Band Camp is always the last 2 full weeks of summer before school starts.
