The Mountain View Wind Ensemble is comprised of only the finest musicians at Mountain View. This group plays advanced band literature of all types. Over two-thirds of the group has qualified for placement in the Arizona All-Regional or All-State performing organizations. Auditions for Wind Ensemble occur in March and November of each year. The group meets every day during second hour. Students from this group are expected to play the wind and percussion parts for the Mountain View Symphony Orchestra. Orchestra rehearsals are held every Tuesday and Thursday during second hour.
