The Mountain View Jazz Ensemble meets during "A" hour from 7:00 - 7:50 a.m. during the second semester only. Jazz students will learn a variety of styles including swing, Latin, funk, and rock. Students will also learn improvisation techniques and will be expected to complete jazz listening assignments. Students must pay the district's "A" hour fee if they are enrolled in more than six credit bearing classes.
